Comedian Matayoshi Naoki (Peace) will appear live as the first guest on Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Kitani Tatsuya’s All Night Nippon X (Cross).”

Singer-songwriter Kitani Tatsuya is the host of “Kitani Tatsuya’s All Night Nippon X” (every Monday from midnight). On Monday, June 10th, the first day of Nippon Broadcasting System’s special week, comedian Matayoshi Naoki (Peace) will be appearing live as the show’s first guest.

This live broadcast will be the first time Kitani Tatsuya and Matayoshi Naoki meet.

Kitani Tatsuya, who graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Tokyo and once stated his opinion on the show that “Twitter (now X) posts can be considered literary,” and Matayoshi Naoki, who won the Akutagawa Prize in 2015 for “Hibana” and is also active as a writer of essays and haiku, will have a talk. While it’s impossible to predict how the talk will play out, it’s an interesting live broadcast, so don’t miss it.

He started posting songs online in 2014. Around the same time, he also began his career as a composer, providing songs to other artists.

Since around 2020, he has accelerated his activities under the name “Kitani Tatsuya”, and in July 2023, he released “Ao no Sumika”, the opening theme for the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”‘s “Kaitama Tamaori”, and participated in the 74th Kohaku Uta Gassen.
