BANDAI SPIRITS Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Sakakibara Hiroshi) and Sony Music Entertainment Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Muramatsu Toshiaki; hereinafter referred to as SME) have been customised by our customers. A limited-time trial*1 of the “High Quality Gunpla Scan” service, which scans and provides 3D model data, will be held at “THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA” (Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) from Saturday, February 22nd. Masu.
Prior to the trial, reservations will begin on the official website from 3pm today (Wednesday, February 12th). This trial is carried out in collaboration with SME with BSP, which plans, develops, manufactures and sells Gunpla, and also the operator of the official Gunpla facility “THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA.” It’s something to do.
“High Quality Gunpla Scan” is a highly-designed Gunpla scanner that is customized by the customer by scanning the high-definition 3D scanning case “SCANOSYS™” (trademark pending), which was developed by SME, and is a carefully selected product. This service was developed with the aim of providing high-quality 3D model data that reproduces even the finest processing.
By combining it with an automatic diorama movie generator specially developed for this trial, it is also possible to create a movie in which a scanned Gunpla sortie into space.
The Gunpla scanned this time will automatically be entered into the Gunpla Scanners Contest Vol.0, which will be held simultaneously.

The “SCANOSYS™” high-definition 3D scanning case was developed with the leadership of SME PV Project.
High-quality 3D model data can be generated by automatically combining high-precision geometry data with high-resolution texture data.
