■About YOASOBI
YOASOBI is a unit that turns novels into music. The debut song “Yo ni Tsurukeru,” released in November 2019, quickly gained attention right after its release, and swept number one on various domestic distribution charts, and now has surpassed 1.2 billion views, the first ever streaming session to date. The opening theme song for the TV anime “Ishinoko” released in April 2023, “Idol,” won the overall top spot on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100″ overall for 21 consecutive weeks, breaking Billboard JAPAN’s record of the all-time leading record, and also ranked first in the US Billboard Global Chart “Global Excl.US”, Apple Music’s “Top 100: Global”, and YouTube music charts TOP 100 songs Global, setting the first record in J-POP history. In October of the same year, he released his third EP, “THE BOOK 3,” which describes his activities for about a year and a half. Furthermore, from December 2023 to January 2024, he conducted his first Asian tour, YOASOBI ASIA TOUR 2023-2024, and tickets were completed in various places. In April 2024, he appeared at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest festivals in the world. In addition, the company held its first solo performance in America in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and tickets sold out in just 30 minutes. In July, the anime series “Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season” will be released in succession with the theme song “UNDEAD” and the song “Stand on Stage” of “NHK Sports Theme 2024” which will be broadcast. In August, he made his first appearance at the historic festival “Lollapalooza 2024” in Chicago, USA, and also held a solo live performance in New York and Boston. In Japan, it celebrated its 5th anniversary in October, and completed its first dome performance in the fall of 2024. Starting in December, he will be holding his second Asian tour. In June, he was the first Japanese artist to appear on the main stage at the Spanish music festival “Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025”, and also held an arena performance in London, England, making him a prominent artist who is appearing in the world on behalf of J-POP, showing outstanding performances in all aspects of Japan and abroad.
