Mei Ehara’s long-awaited new single “Mada Hayasai Kajitsu” will be released by Kakubarizm on Wednesday, June 19th!

In recent years, Mei Ehara has been gaining attention both in Japan and overseas with her collaborations with Faye Webster and Cornelius.

While everyone waits for the new album, it has been decided that the long-awaited new single “Mada Hayaikajitsu” will be released digitally next week on Wednesday, June 19th!

The digital jacket artwork was done by Mei Ehara herself.

In addition, this new work “Mada Hayaikajitsu” will be aired for the first time on meiehara’s monthly regular radio program α-STATION FM KYOTO “BETWEEN GROOVE” from 24:00 on Friday, June 14th!

Additionally, on Saturday, June 29th, meiehara will hold a self-produced two-man live show called “Conversation” at Shibuya WWW.
The guest for the two-man live show will be Triple Fire, the DJ will be Takahashi Hajime (Omoide Yaro A Team), and the record shop “CELLAR RECORDS” will also be setting up a booth.

On the day of the event, as an admission bonus, all attendees will receive a CD-R containing covers of songs selected by mei ehara and Triple Fire.

【mei ehara PROFILE】

Born in 1991. When he was a student, he started making independent films and then started recording at home.
After producing several self-produced albums, he released his first album, “Sway” (2017), and his second album, “Ampersands” (2020), through Kakubarizm.
In addition to his musical activities, he is also the editor of the literary magazine “Sono”, the interview project “DONCAMATIQ”, photographs and designs for musicians, and is involved in other creative activities such as art direction for video works.
