This song is based on a painting I started working on before the summer of 2023, inspired by my childhood memories and the Tanabata Festival in Sendai.
I wonder if the exotic, oriental feeling I felt back then is something akin to nostalgia now.
A strong sense of color that lingers in nostalgia.
The vague memory I have is of the summer of 2023, coinciding with my son’s summer vacation.
The end of summer, when the past and reality mix together, always felt somehow lonely, no matter the era.
We are happy to be able to release this song as summer begins again.

KONCOS | KONCOS

We are KONCOS, a Tokyo-based three piece band. Our sound is based on alternative soul. We act around Japan in diverse music venues and clubs.
The band was founded in 2012 to produce music for the AW Collection of Allege, a Japanese fashion brand.
Since April 2015, we have been organizing our concert series “AFTER SCHOOL” at Shelter in Shimokitazawa.
The album “Colors & Scale” was released on the 20th of July in 2016 by AWDR/LR2.

KONCOS is a three-piece band based in Tokyo consisting of keyboard, guitar, and drums.
His activities began when he produced music for the fashion brand ALLEGE’s 2012 AW COLLECTION.
Since April 2015, they have been holding their own event (AFTER SCHOOL) based at Shimokitazawa SHELTER.
Colors & Scale was released by AWDR/LR2 on July 20, 2016.
Based on their Alternative Soul sound, they continue to perform live at live houses and clubs all over the country.
