GRAPEVINE will hold an additional performance of “The Decade Show” at a location associated with their debut.

GRAPEVINEAn additional show for GRAPEVINE’s anniversary tour “The Decade Show,” commemorating 10 years since they moved to Speedstar Records, will be held at Umeda TRAD in their hometown of Osaka.
Umeda TRAD, which is scheduled to close on October 31, 2024, is the venue where GRAPEVINE held their first solo concert in Osaka (December 1997, when it was called Umeda Banana Hall).
The stage and interior still retain their original appearance.
Over the past decade, GRAPEVINE has released six full-length albums.
These songs include those that are synonymous with GRAPEVINE, such as “Nezumi Jodo,” “Alright,” and “Suzume no Ko.”
The years 2024 and 1997 intersect on the stage where GRAPEVINE stood before their debut.
Look forward to GRAPEVINE’s final live performance at umeda TRAD.

GRAPEVINE

The band began activities in Osaka in 1993. The band name was borrowed from Marvin Gaye’s “I heard it through the grapevine”. They moved to Tokyo and debuted in September 1997 with the mini-album “Kakusei”. The album “Lifetime” (1999), which includes “Slow” and “Hikari ni Tsuite”, won many listeners. Their latest album is “Almost there” (2023), which includes “Suzume no Ko”, “Ub (You bet on it)” and “Tetsuden no Yoru”. Even now, more than 25 years after their debut, they continue to release albums consistently and tour energetically. The current lineup is Kazumasa Tanaka (Vo, Gt), Hirotake Nishikawa (Gt), Toru Kamei (Dr), Isao Takano (Key), and Satoru Kanedo (Ba).
