Teikoku Kissa has released the music video for their new song “Aitai Ndayo” which was released today, August 6th (Tuesday)! A comment has arrived from the video director of this work, the up-and-coming young video artist, Mito Takagi!

Teikoku Kissa has released the music video for their new song “Aitai Ndayo,” which was digitally released today, Tuesday, August 6th, on the band’s YouTube Channel.
This song is the second in a three-month series of singles that began in July, and was written and composed by Sugiura Yuki (Gt.Vocals).
The music video is a fusion of energetic live performance scenes of the members filmed on a midsummer night and dramatic parts that link to the lyrics, creating a video that matches the world view of the song.
The video was directed by Takagi Mito, a young and acclaimed filmmaker who has previously worked on Conton Candy’s “Fuzzy Navel” and “Eternal Impulse” by I’s, the four-piece rock band led by Ano.
This marks their sixth collaboration on a Teikoku Kissa production.
In addition, the animation that appears in the drama part was drawn by ocome, who also worked on the animation for music videos for Ryokuoushoku Shakai and Penthouse.

The next single, which will conclude the three-month series of singles, is scheduled for release on Friday, September 6th.
After the summer festival, the band will be holding their solo tour 2024 “Let’s go welcome the light under the sky with you” in October, visiting a total of nine locations including Zepp.

The drama section features a real man and an animated woman.
Two people born under different stars cannot understand each other or hold hands.
I’m sure we’ll never understand each other in the future. I don’t understand, and I can’t be understood. But I want to understand, and I want others to understand.
And when they look at each other like that, I thought (I hope) that for just a moment they might overcome their inability to understand each other, so I made it.
I created this video hoping to convey the image of the song’s gentle, well-rounded lyrics and its beautiful, intense meteor shower-like sound, and I think it turned out great.
