DAISHI DANCE's second single from "The Ghibli Set 3" scheduled for release this fall, "Spirited Away / Ano Natsu e" was released today! Featuring Tsugaru shamisen artists "Yoshida Brothers" and Japanese traditional musician "Himegami".

“Spirited Away / To That Summer” was released today as the second advance single from DAISHI DANCE’s “the Ghibli set 3,” which is scheduled to be released this fall.
The “The Ghibli Set” project is a collection of dance music by DAISHI DANCE, in which they rearrange famous songs from Ghibli films. Two albums have been released to date, and the series is still a long-selling hit not only in Japan but also overseas.
Last month, the first pre-release track from “The Ghibli Set 3,” “Castle in the Sky / Carrying You (PIANO instrumental MIX),” was released digitally, and many fans were seen building up their anticipation for the album with the melodious piano/strings track that did not disappoint.
The latest single, “Spirited Away / To That Summer,” features Tsugaru shamisen artists Yoshida Brothers and synthesizer musician Himegami, who paints the original landscapes of Japan. The immersive melody makes you feel as if you are lost in another world, and the beautiful yet powerful HOUSE MUSIC arrangement by DAISHI DANCE weaves in a Japanese element into the instrumental track.

From TRIBAL, 90s OLDSCHOOL, PIANO HOUSE to massive HOUSE, DAISHI DANCE creates intense peak times and a sense of unity on the dance floor with a unique play style that crosses various genres using four CDJs. As a producer, he is known for producing melodious songs centered on piano and strings, and since his simultaneous debut in Japan and Korea with “the PIANO set” in 2006, he has released many albums at a high pace, recording cumulative album sales of over 1 million copies. Among them, the album “the Ghibli set” series, which features house covers of famous songs from Studio Ghibli works, became an exceptional big hit and an astonishingly long-selling album, making the name of DAISHI DANCE widely known beyond the framework of the club scene. Another major feature is his unique melancholy melody and collaboration with traditional Japanese instruments. He is also active in producing and collaborating with various artists both in Japan and overseas, releasing songs from international labels and remixing popular overseas artists.
