BOPCORN and TJO, who are active mainly in domestic clubs and festivals and have performed on the main stage of ULTRA JAPAN for many years, have released their first collaborative song.
“BOPCORN” is a unit consisting of George 2wasted and Aspen Laws, who are popular and supported mainly in the bass scene in Tokyo, and TJO, who is leading the Japanese DJ industry from both the player and media sides.
They collaborated to create a festival song that symbolizes ULTRA JAPAN, making use of each of their unique characteristics.
George 2wasted himself sings on vocals, creating nostalgic melodies based on emotional Y2K punk rock.
The track also combines a fast BPM with a sense of speed that is reminiscent of the recent rave revival, and ends with a playful dubstep sound, creating an anthem for the next generation.

BOPCORN
Bopcorn is an up-and-coming DJ/producer duo formed by 2Wasted and Aspen Laws. 2Wasted grew up in Hawaii, while Aspen Laws lived in New York for several years. They have been surrounded by music since birth and are talented in many areas. 2Wasted has punk rock roots and can play a wide range of instruments including guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums. Aspen Laws has been playing piano since he was 5 years old.
They met while DJing in Tokyo and after several years of separate careers – Aspen Laws honing his production skills in New York and 2Wasted playing big gigs around the world, including Ultra Japan – they reunited in Tokyo a few years later and began making electronic music together.
Their diverse musical tastes result in a fusion of genres including Trap/Dubstep, Punk Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz and even movie soundtracks. Their music is heavily inspired by movies and they want to make the listener feel like they are part of a musical story.
