Teikoku Kissa has announced details of the new song that will be the final song of their three-month consecutive single series! An up-tempo number that will inspire everyone who listens to it has been born. The cover image and teaser video drawn by member Akuri have been released!

This summer, Teikoku Kissa has been taking advantage of the strengths of its three members in being able to write lyrics and compose music, releasing singles three consecutive months starting in July.
Details of the final song, which will be released on Friday, September 6th, and its cover image have now been made public.
The title of the new song is “Let’s Go and Meet the Light,” which is also included in the title of their autumn solo tour.
The lyrics and music were written by Hikita Akira (Ba), and the spirited words “One, two, three” serve as the signal for this up-tempo number that will inspire all who listen.

The jacket was designed by Acri (Gt), who also designs merchandise and flyers.

The eagerly awaited new song will be aired for the first time on FM802’s “EVENING TAP,” which will be broadcast live from 6pm today, Thursday, August 29th.

Also today, a teaser video for “Let’s Go Meet the Light” was released.
The music video is scheduled to be released at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6th.

After touring the summer festivals, Teikoku Kissa will be holding their solo tour 2024 “Let’s go and welcome the light under the sky with you” in October, visiting a total of nine locations including Zepp.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The individual events that I took for granted every day were things that, even if they were embarrassing, supported me in moving in a brighter direction little by little, so that I wouldn’t lose sight of the sparkling moments that were important to me. Listening to the song again, I feel that rather than thinking of someone else, I wanted to write about myself, who I had not been able to cherish for a long time.”

“I wanted to create a cover that would make people who listen to the song want to skip along and have their hearts leap with joy, so I did.
Just like the other members chatting away in the background pushing the boy’s back, I hoped that I could give everyone a little push in their hearts, and help them take even a small step forward.The composition was also key, and the impression changes depending on whether the light is towards the front or back, so I thought about it a lot with Hiki, who wrote the lyrics and music.
And to further accentuate the worldview of the song, which is full of positivity, nostalgia, and Teikoku Kissa-ness, we’ve put a lot of care into the colors, retro background, and more. If you look closely at the jacket, you’ll see that there are some playful parts that are related to the lyrics, so please look forward to the release.
