Le Makeup is a new type of singer-songwriter/producer who goes through ambient/minimal/indie R&B and Japanese pop.
Following the album “Odorata” released in February 2023 with a gorgeous guest lineup, the album “Yokan” will be released for the first time in 1 year and 3 months.
A collection of Japanese introspective folk/cloud rap/avant folk that deals with daily life and trauma in southern Osaka, with a looped guitar/piano track.
Mastering is Seigen Ono (Saidera Mastering).
Born in Osaka in 1997. Le Makeup is a new type of singer-songwriter/producer who goes through ambient/minimal/indie R&B and Japanese pop.
While running his own label PURE VOYAGE, he has released releases on overseas labels such as LA’s Eternal Dragonz and Austria’s Ashida Park, as well as Osaka’s popular label EM Records, as well as co-released with Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth.
In recent years, she has been active in participating in the “Movie Girl” Original Soundtrack supervised by tofubeats, and providing, producing, and participating in songs for artists such as gummyboy, Lil Soft Tennis, NTsKi, and Dove.
In October 2022, they will perform in South Korea, and in November they will tour the EU in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany, and their unique movements are gaining attention.
“Odorata”, released in 2023, became a hot topic, including being featured on Pitchfork.
Following “Odorata”, the album “Yokan” will be released for the first time in 1 year and 3 months.The album is a looped guitar/piano track, a Japanese introspective folk cloud that deals with everyday life and trauma in Minami-Osaka. Rap/avant folk collection.
During the production of “Yokan,” which I started after completing “Odorata,” I came up with a sound inspired by the acoustic guitar I had picked up for the first time in a while, and an auto-tuned vocal that spoke for me.
It’s sad yet airy music that I was able to output in the most natural way out of all my works to date.

I wrote the album while I was in Osaka, so I wonder if it would sound different if I listened to it after walking around the city.
CONPASS is also the place where I always go for drinks. As for singing, if I didn’t speak the Kansai dialect, I’m sure the songs would be different. It’s an album that came about naturally like that.
Anyway…I’ll be waiting!

He began seriously composing music while attending Kwansei Gakuin University, and has since released his works on various labels both domestically and internationally. Released the album “Binetsu” in 2020.
