“MONO NO AWARE” has announced that they will be live streaming the cooking talk show “#OurRecipe” on Wednesday, June 5th to commemorate the release of their new album “The Buffet.”
“#OurRecipe” is a program in which the members talk while cooking their specialty dishes, and as the album title “The Buffet” suggests, the members will explain the album, which focuses on “food,” while cooking and talking.
The program will also be collecting questions about MONO NO AWARE, and a segment will be held in which questions will be posted on X (old Twitter) and Instagram using the hashtag “#OurRecipe” and the members will answer the questions.
Questions are not limited to the latest album, but can also be about anything you’re curious about the band or their older works.
A talk show commemorating the release of MONO NO AWARE’s fifth album will be streamed live on the band’s official YouTube channel from 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5th, the album’s release date.

The band also announced that they will be releasing a 10-inch vinyl record featuring the digital single “Angle” from this album, as well as “Kamukamo Shikamoni Domokamo! (imai remix),” a remix of “Kamukamo Shikamoni Domokamo!”, a song written for NHK Minna no Uta in 2019, by imai of group inou.
“Angle/Kamukamo Shikamonidomo Kamo! (imai remix)”[10 inch]is scheduled to be released to the general public on Wednesday, July 31st, but it will also be available for pre-sale at the venues of the nationwide “A La Carte Tour” which starts on Friday, June 7th at Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo and visits 11 cities across the country, as well as at the Taipei Record Season which will be held in Taipei.
Along with the 10-inch vinyl record, be sure to check out the nationwide tour, which will be the first in about three years.

Tamaki Shuhei and Kato Seiju, both from Hachijojima, Tokyo, met Takeda Ayako and Yanagisawa Yutaka at university.
As a result, even though they are in the pop arena, they produce a free sound that is not bound by genre or domestic or international boundaries, with a sound that hints at a diverse background, melody lines that defy expectations, and lyrics that are full of wordplay.
They were voted to perform on the main stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’16 “ROOKIE A GO-GO” the following year, and have since appeared at numerous festivals around Japan, garnering attention as a next-generation band.
In March 2017, he released his first album, “Life, Mountains and Valleys,” nationwide. In August 2018, he released his second album, “AHA.” In October 2019, he released his third album, “Kakegaenai Mono,” which includes the original songs “Kamukamo Shikamoni Domokamo!” for NHK Minna no Uta and “A・I・A・O・U,” the theme song for the movie version of “Sinking Family.” In June 2021, he released his fourth album, “Gyoretsu no Dekiru Hakobun,” which includes the theme song “Zoccon” for the animated film “Umibe no Etranze.” In April 2022, he wrote the ending theme song “Ajimi” for the new gourmet drama “Share Suru La! Instant Ramen Arrangement Club Hajimemashita” on BS-TBS. In May 2023, he released a cover of “Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun,” and in June of the same year, he released the single “Kaze no Mikage ga Kawatte.” In June 2024, they will release their first new album in about three years, “The Buffet,” and hold a nationwide tour.
