KOMOREBI, an alternative hip-hop group that began full-scale activities in May 2023, released their new song “Giri Giri” on May 17th last month and is becoming a viral hit, especially on social media!
It took the top spot in the TikTok song rankings announced today, and was ranked 7th in the Billboard Japan TikTok Weekly Top 20! What’s more, the total number of views of videos using “Giri Giri” on KOMOREBI’s official SNS accounts has exceeded 25 million!
The song has become a hot topic on social media and is currently ranked 2nd on Spotify’s Japan Viral Chart, becoming a hot topic especially among young people!
On social media, the phrase “Justifiably Happy” has struck a chord with young people, with comments such as “I can’t get “Justifiably Happy” out of my head,” “I’m justifiably happy, too!” and “I understand justifiably happy!”, and videos of various “Justifiably Happy” moments and dance moves are being uploaded one after another to social media.

A hip-hop unit consisting of five members: MC SAM, MAXI, YUTA, MATHEUS, and DJ OTA.
The group was formed by friends who belong to the same model agency and started making music together.
Full-scale activities will begin in 2023.
The members themselves are hosting an event called “TIME BOMB” in Shibuya, Ebisu, Shinjuku, etc.
