The next stage of PES’ solo career has been completed, with the words “1000 years” in mind. With YUricewine as producer, PES’s unique voice and flow have been brought into the mix, making this a track that deepens the meaning of the lyrics.
On July 15th, he will hold his first solo concert under the name PES in 12 years.
The solo live performance will be held on the evening of July 15th (Marine Day), the final day of the event “Everyday is a Summer Festival” which will be held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from July 3rd. It will be a special experience where you can experience PES’ performance in various styles, such as singing and playing with just an acoustic guitar and performing with a band, without being limited to the framework of hip hop.
This song started when I was working with producer YUricewine and I put a rap on the piano that was sent to me. I was making something that was more hip-hop oriented with a beat, but when I took out the beat and rewrote the lyrics based on what I felt from “1000 Years,” the song and the lyrics came together smoothly, so I think this was the right answer. I hope you will listen to the prototype of the music I want to make now.
