Trymatic, a project launched as a new challenge for those who continue to take on new challenges, will release their near-future dystopian sound album “Paradise” on August 28th!

“What if the utopia we reach has fallen into disrepair?”

‘Trymatic’, a project by STEVIE (vocals), HRSM (keyboard, synthesizer, programming) and NECKY (guitar), will release their third single, “Paradise”, on August 28th, their first in four months.

‘Trymatic’ is a project by three people: STEVIE, a member of ’44 MAGNUM’, a pioneer of Japanese heavy metal; HRSM, the sound producer of electro-alternative pop duo ‘Mellisa Barry’; and NECKY, a bilingual rapper and composer.

‘Trymatic’ is a coined word that combines ‘challenge’ and ‘traumatic’ and refers to the mental state of someone who continues to challenge themselves and never gives up, no matter how many times they try.

“What if the utopia you imagined was actually hell?” “What if the current situation you thought you had to overcome was actually protecting you?” The new work “Paradise” was born from such concepts. It has an aggressive drum and bass melody and lyrics influenced by the worlds of science fiction such as Snowpiercer, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix and Mad Max. AI voices and koto melodies are sprinkled throughout, creating the image of a stateless future city.

Trymatic is planning to release new songs every month, including their YouTube show “Shukai.” They are scheduled to perform live at the end of the year, so be sure to keep an eye on them as they continue to work energetically.

[Comment from the artist]

STEVIE: “From here on out, we’ll have a flurry of releases, each one rewriting the previous. We’ll keep changing and always provide surprises. Please look forward to them.”

HRSM: “Hey everyone, it’s HRSM! The arrangement of our new song is light in a good way, with a heavy, trance sound, and vocals that take the audience to another dimension, making you feel high. When you hear this song, I’m sure you’ll all think, “Wow! We haven’t had a sound like this recently!” This is where it all begins. Everyone, please look forward to it. Thank you!”

NECKY: “It’s been a while since our last release, but this song is heavy and full of energy, so it’s like we’re making up for the hiatus. We’ll be working hard in the second half of the year, so I hope you can feel our enthusiasm through this song.”
