Today, STU48 held the performance “Whose Flowers Are They?” at the Hulic Hall in Tokyo.
The performance of “Whose Flowers Are They?”, which opened on July 30, 2022 at Festhalle in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, was performed in Tokyo for the first time in August 2022 at Kokumin Kyosai Coop Hall/Space Zero. It has been about two years since then, and this Tokyo performance will be the first of a series of Tokyo performances to convey the charm of STU48 to more people in preparation for the 8th anniversary concert scheduled for March next year.
Regarding the first performance of “Whose Flowers Are?” in Tokyo in about two years, Chiho Ishida said, “I think there are people who came to the Tokyo performance two years ago, and some who came to see the performance of “Whose Flowers Are?” for the first time today, but I hope you will enjoy it because it is a performance full of the charm of STU48!” Akari Fukuda said, “We will hold three performances of “Whose Flowers Are?” in Tokyo, including this one, but we are planning to hold our 8th anniversary concert at the Tokyo Garden Theater, which has a capacity of 8,000 people, on March 20th next year. We would like to work hard with our own strength and connect it to March, while borrowing everyone’s help.” She was enthusiastic about the 8th anniversary concert. The performance started with the message song “Whose Flowers Are?”, which is also the title of the performance, wishing for peace. In the two years since the first performance, the “Whose Flowers Are?” performance has continued to grow while going through various changes such as the graduation of many members including the first generation members, and the addition of 2.5th and 3rd generation members. The Tokyo performance was a powerful performance that made you feel the momentum of the new STU48.
Okamura Rio expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for coming today! I’m really happy that so many people came to see us in Tokyo, and I was happy that the energy grew and got more and more excited as time went on. The penlights were really beautiful, and I’m so grateful that you showed us such an amazing view!”
The venue for the “STU48 8th Anniversary Concert” scheduled to be held in March next year will be the Tokyo Garden Theater, which can accommodate approximately 8,000 people and will be the largest venue in which STU48 has ever held a concert. With this big challenge ahead of them, they want more people to know about the members and their songs, and they want to stand on stage with the seats filled for the 8th anniversary concert! With this feeling in mind, they are cherishing each and every stage.
