This song reminded me of what is important as an idol. I hope each of us can believe in our own dreams and stick to them, and then give back to the group and make the group’s dreams come true. “Be honest” has English lyrics! I am in charge of singing the songs for that. When I was a student, I loved studying English so much that I went to study abroad a lot. I’m glad that I was able to use that English in a scene! I feel like Ariana Grande and sing with all my heart every time. As the Immediate Genki Support Team, we will do our best to deliver energy and power to more and more people through songs and Immediate Genki!

This time, the song “Be honest”, which I also participated in, has become the official tie-up song for Sokue Genki! I’m very happy. This song has an atmosphere unlike anything STU48 has ever done before. No matter what people around you say, look forward and proceed in your own way! Go towards your dreams! It’s a refreshing and strong song that teaches us that. There are parts of it that I can really relate to, and when I hum it, it motivates me. I always find myself unconsciously comparing myself to others and feeling depressed, so the lyrics in the chorus, “Everyone is different. Is it bad to be honest?” stuck with me. I would like to give energy to those who feel the same way or are feeling a little tired as an immediate energy cheering squad!
