STU48 Tokyo Garden Theater will be holding its 8th anniversary concert! “I want to cherish the unique songs and sing and dance together.”

Today, March 20th, STU48, based in the Setouchi region, held its 8th anniversary concert, “STU48 8th Anniversary Concert THE STU SHOW ~Peerless ~ supported by SHOWROOM” at Tokyo Garden Theater in Tokyo.

The show started with “I’d rather speak to myself,” a live band performance that adds a touch of elegance to the 8th anniversary concert. Captain Okada Azumi called out, “Let’s all celebrate the eight years we’ve created together with everyone and the members!” and performed four live songs in a row.

Kudo Riko said, “We have received the support of many people until today, and worked hard together with all the members, and I feel so great! Today I will definitely make everyone happy, so I hope you will follow us all to the end!” Nakamura Mai said, “I really appreciate how many people are supporting us right now, as we can really convey our gratitude to everyone and enjoy ourselves!”

The song consists of blocks featuring the themes of STU48’s spring, summer, autumn and winter, such as “Sunglasses Days” and “Midwinter Pool,” and blocks performing songs with a strong STU48 message, such as “We Are Sinbad” and “We Weight of Uniforms,” ​​giving a sense of the breadth of the songs that lasted eight years.

At the end of the main story, Vice Captain Fukuda Akari called out, “We’ve had mountains and valleys for eight years, but it’s undoubtedly thanks to our fans that we’ve overcome them and have come this far. I’m sure we’ll be facing a lot of hardships from tomorrow, but it’s okay! We Team.STU48 are our friends on the same boat, so please continue to follow us with peace of mind!” and performed STU48’s cheering song, “Hetaretachiyo,” with full energy.

Okada said, “This 8th anniversary concert has been brought to you all with only STU48 songs. STU48’s songs have an atmosphere, worldview, and wonderful lyrics that other idols have, and I strongly feel that this is the strength of STU48 and is a part that we can be proud to be unique. Today I was able to feel this feeling even more at this concert! These songs, including the songs we performed today and the songs we didn’t perform, are the eight years of STU48’s history. Even though the members have changed over the past eight years and are becoming new as a new system, we as we continue to move forward in the present and the future, cherishing the feelings of the songs that our seniors had cherished at the time when they were released, as well as memories with the fans created through the songs, and while we cherishing and feeling that, we would like to cherish, sing, dance and connect STU48’s songs in our ninth year!” and bringing the curtain to a close.

The STU48 8th anniversary concert will also be held on April 5th and 6th at the Hiroshima International Congress Center Phoenix Hall in Hiroshima Prefecture, and there will also be a van to play against HKT48 and NMB48.
