The circuit festival "Fukufes Vol.3" produced by idol and band fanatic STU48's Fukuda Akari will be held in Fukuda's hometown of Kagawa Prefecture! A limited collaboration performance by participating artists and Fukuda Akari for today only!

The circuit festival “Fukufes Vol.3”, hosted by vice captain Fukuda Akari of the idol group STU48, which is based in the seven Setouchi prefectures, was held at Takamatsu Monster festhalle.

Today, STU48’s Fukuda Akari held her first circuit festival, “Fukufes Vol.3,” at two venues in her hometown of Kagawa Prefecture, Takamatsu Monster and Festhalle.

While being an active idol, she is also an idol maniac and a rock fanatic! On her days off, Fukuda Akari is such a hardcore idol and music freak that she travels outside the prefecture to watch idol and band live performances. This festival was produced by her with artists she personally selected. In addition to Fukufest goods, the event was a project that overflowed with Fukuda’s love for Shikoku, with a set of specialties from the four Shikoku prefectures being sold (Kagawa Prefecture, Moriya Udon; Ehime Prefecture, Blood Orange Salt Chocolate; Tokushima Prefecture, Awa no Aji Tokushima Ramen; Kochi Prefecture, Mountain Spicy Sauce Ginger Bonito). In addition to udon (Udon Sakaeda), the catering also included special pizza from Super Fresh Market Kimura, which has stores in Okayama and Kagawa prefectures and is promoted by Fukuda Akari, Utsumi Rion, and Ishihara Yuna as the PR office.

The theme of the festival is “youth”!! “Fukufes Vol.1”, which was started to enliven the Setouchi music scene, will be held in January 2023 in his hometown of Kagawa Prefecture. Vol.2 will be held in February 2024 in Tokyo to spread the charm of Shikoku to the whole country. Vol.3 will be held as a circuit in his hometown of Kagawa Prefecture. Active idols who don’t know about adult affairs will freely book artists based only on their feelings of love!!

At the opening announcement, Fukuda, who stood in the center of the festhalle stage, said, “I’m Fukuda Akari of STU48. Thank you very much for coming to Fukufes Vol.3. This is the third Fukufes, and it’s a circuit festival with two venues plus a merchandise venue, so I hope that everyone will make a circuit of Takamatsu and fall in love with the city. It’s a rare attempt to invite a band to be hosted by an idol group, so I hope that idol otaku and live kids will get along and have a lot of fun and make new discoveries. Today, everyone, forget all your bad things and think of this as the classroom of the school of our youth and enjoy yourself to the fullest.” A huge cheer rose from the audience when she greeted the audience. The day was the release date of Fukuda Akari’s first photo book, “Summer Cut Lion,” and the stage set list for “Katte ni! Shikoku Tourism Ambassador” included “Ponytail and Scrunchie” to match the concept of the photo book, and the first performance of “Kamisama o Naru Horanoni” with the Shikoku members, which was full of Fukuda’s unique style. During the photobook release talk, she started off by saying, “There are no live streams today, so I’ll talk about anything. This is the first time I’ve stripped naked in my 8 years as an idol.” She then talked about the origin of the title and behind-the-scenes stories of the shoot, and ended by saying, “I was really into the shoot, so it’s a photobook full of playfulness. I hope you’ll enjoy it with your family.” This drew laughter. At Takamatsu MONSTER, the first STU48 captain, Nana Okada, performed “Temo Demo no Namida” with third STU48 captain Azumi Okada on stage. Azumi Okada said, “The first captain was Nana Okada, and I saw her look really cool, so when I was chosen as the third captain, fans said that I was chosen because of my name (laughs). I’m trying my best not to be thought of as being chosen just because of my last name, Okada.” This made the audience laugh. STU48’s stage at Takamatsu MONSTER started with “STU48”, and Fukuda called out, “Today, we’ve put together a rock set list that will make you sweat. Let’s all sweat together and enjoy youth,” and performed “Magic Rock’n’Roll,” giving the audience a rock feel with a set list different from the usual idols. Fukuda performed Kinoho-san, Sex Machine!!さん、シャンパンじゃなくて、ｼｬﾝﾎﾟﾝだった。 Fukuda, who enjoyed an abuse of authority collaborative stage with STU, Psychic Warrior Dorian, Kupipo, HelloYouth, and others, and ended by collaborating with 175R on “Sing to the Sky”, said, “It was awesome! My adrenaline was pumping like crazy and I felt great all day and had so much fun. I’ll never forget the view I saw from here with SHOGO during “Sing to the Sky”. Many idol groups and artists performed, and every stage was so hot and the excitement was so great. I think this place might have been the hottest in Kagawa Prefecture. It was really great to see the older men raising their fists in respect for the STU fans who always support us. Please show us that face again. Today, we were able to put on the stage safely thanks to not only everyone who came, but also everyone who performed and the staff who supported us. Thank you so much.” After expressing his gratitude, the audience erupted in applause and cheers, and he was sent off with calls of “Fuku-chan! I am Fukuda Akari, vice captain of STU48. On September 7, 2024, the third Fukufes will be held. This event, which was powered up after the last one in Tokyo, has returned to Kagawa! I was scared to hold a large-scale event in a rural area when I was not well known, but the tickets were sold out. I still can’t believe it, I’m so happy. There are two first attempts this time. The first is that it is a circuit festival. After exchanging wristbands at Takamatsu Olive Hall, you will walk through the Kawaramachi shopping district to the venue. This time, the live will be held at two venues, Takamatsu Monster and festhalle, alternating times. I hope you will walk around the city of Takamatsu a lot in search of the artists you want to see, including the merchandise. Please come and find the charm of Takamatsu! The second is the fusion of bands and idols. It’s common for idols to appear at rock festivals, but they are inviting idols and bands to a festival hosted by an active idol, and they are even trying to collaborate with the bands! This is quite a fresh form of entertainment. I’m a bit nervous about what kind of chemical reaction will occur, but I’m even more excited than that. Let’s all enjoy a moment of youth together, idol fans and live kids. Takamatsu is the city where I spent my youth. It’s like a dream that so many customers and my favorite artists will gather there. If there was an event like this in Kagawa when I was a student, maybe my life choices would have been wider. Being an artist will go from being just an admiration to a dream.
