Kihara Ruu, who has played the role of Heshikiri Hasebe in “Mashin Sentai Kiramager” (as Kiramei Yellow/Imizu Tametomo) and the musical “Touken Ranbu”, and who played the lead role of Kurosaki Ichigo in “ROCK MUSICAL BLEACH” this year, has announced that he will be releasing his new song “YOAKE” digitally on August 7th.
Kihara Rui played the role of Kiramei Yellow/Imizu Tametomo in the Super Sentai series “Mashin Sentai Kiramager,” which is popular among a wide range of people from children to parents. In 2023, he played “Heshikiri Hasebe” in the popular musical “Touken Ranbu,” and in 2024, he played “Kurosaki Ichigo” in “ROCK MUSICAL BLEACH,” and his singing has been praised in various places. Last year, Kihara Rui sold out his 2nd solo live “NEXT HERO” and 1st EP “COLORS” release live, and as a member of the mixed-gender vocal group “Love Harmony’s, Inc.”, he successfully held a solo live at Zepp HANEDA in March of this year. The new song “YOAKE” was co-written with Vocaloid producer “Nito,” who also teamed up with the band on “Ichigoichie” and “Neon City.”
Nito is a popular creator who has provided numerous songs while working as a Vocaloid producer, and has been in charge of two theme songs at the same time: the opening theme “Bye My Darling feat. Mikalia, Nito” and the ending theme “Haru Mimai feat. Ayuni D, Nito” for the TV anime “Urusei Yatsura.” The lyrics were co-written by Kihara and Nito, and Kihara sings a catchy melody line that sticks in your head at first listen, making this a long-awaited new song that has been waiting for the dawn.

No matter how hard I struggle, I can’t reach my goal and I feel like giving up, but I live each day believing that if I have something I believe in, I will find the answer someday.
