Matsuki Mitsutada’s latest song “Kiba no Kagayaki” with the fastest BPM of 315 will be released today on August 7th! What’s more, the lyric video was also produced by himself! It will be released today at 9pm!

Matsuki Misada, who had been devoted to jazz since his student days, suddenly became interested in Japanese music in 2018 and began posting original songs on SoundCloud. The uniqueness of his musicality became a hot topic among music fans with keen ears. Furthermore, he will release more songs in 2022 and 2023, and he has quickly become one of the artists to watch.
In particular, the song “On the Stage,” a collaboration with Soki Urakami, was selected for the TOP 100 of 2022 on Spotify and Apple Music, and following the release of his first album “THE MAGICAL TOUCH,” which included the song, it was featured in various media outlets and his reputation spread rapidly.

His new song “Kiba no Kagayaki” (The Sparkle of Kiba), released following “Moon” in May, is a fantastical and grand song with fewer tension notes and chord changes based on triads compared to his previous works, an etude-like melody and vivid tones of piano, guitar, and brass. Various elements are tightly packed into one song, and there are plenty of mechanisms to keep the listener entertained.
I hope you enjoy the moment when the fastest song in Matsuki Mitsusada’s history, with a BPM of 315, runs through your mind.

Furthermore, the world of “The Radiance of Fangs” is actually connected to the same world as the previous work “Moon,” with “Moon” being another story and this work representing the main story. The lyrics that match the story depicting the love story between a beast and a girl are also interesting and intriguing.

The artwork for this work was also done by the artist himself, but this time he also worked on the animation for the lyric video,

It will be released on YouTube at 9pm today, August 7th, so please be sure to check it out.

There is likely to be some exciting news in the second half of 2024, so please continue to keep an eye on Matsuki Mitsusada’s activities.

[Self-liner notes by Matsuki Misada]

Production began last spring, and a year has passed since then as we went through trial and error.
Initially, the theme was “a grand ensemble of monsters,” but before I knew it, I had strayed far from my original goal.

It took so long to create this song that I’ve listened to it thousands of times, so I don’t know what kind of atmosphere it has.
I’m not sure what to make of it at the moment, but I hope it’s enjoyable to listen to.
