Dance artist GANMI releases new song "BEST COMPLEX"! The track was created by RhymeTube, who has worked on songs by Rinne, Sorane, SUSHIBOYS, and others who are very popular among the younger generation!

GANMI, who has choreographed for numerous artists both in Japan and abroad and continues to release his own music as a dance artist, began streaming his new song “BEST COMPLEX” on August 14, 2024.

This time, the track was produced by RhymeTube, who has worked on popular songs among the younger generation such as Rin’s “snow jam”, Sorane’s “Hug feat. Kojikoji”, and SUSHIBOYS’ “DRUG”. The vocals are provided by Akusa, a young rapper who is close friends with the members, who collaborated on lyrics that pursue “music made by dancers”. It is an exhilarating 2-Split dance number that combines RhymeTube’s fast-paced rhythmic track with Akusa’s high-speed rap.

GANMI is currently holding their regular solo live show “TSUKIICHI LIVE.” They finished their August show yesterday, with September and October shows remaining. They have also decided to hold a solo event in Shibuya, Tokyo for two days starting on November 11th, the 9th anniversary of their formation. Furthermore, they have decided to hold their solo live tour “OIKAZE” in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka starting in January 2025.

Up until now, GANMI members have created choreography and danced to various songs produced by RhymeTube, so we are very happy that they produced our song. Also, Akusa, an old friend of member kooouya, participated in the vocals. He wrote the lyrics based on a story that the three of us, kooouya, Akusa and I, talked about one day. The lyrics are based on the theme of “dance,” and we believe that we have created a song that will resonate not only with dancers, but also with GANMI, the GANMI fans.

On a personal note, Sota used to be physically weaker in soccer because he was short, but now he uses his shortness as a weapon. A dance artist group of 11 members formed in 2015. They began performing live after becoming the first Japanese team to win the world dance competition “VIBE DANCE COMPETITION XXI” held in Los Angeles, USA in 2016. In 2019, they planned and successfully performed free live shows in all 47 prefectures of Japan. On January 8th of this year, they finished their solo live tour “Maihi” visiting six cities nationwide, and announced that they will hold a band battle live in April and May 2024, as well as regular solo live shows from July 2024.
