Born in Tokyo, MFS is a member of the Osaka-based hip-hop collective Tha Jointz, who started rapping in 2020. Not only in Japan, but in 2022, his song “BOW” was used in the globally popular game “Overwatch 2” and charted in 45 countries and regions around the world on the Spotify Viral Chart, and won first place in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, and the Grohl Chart, making him the first Japanese artist to achieve this feat. The channel was launched on November 15, 2019, and currently has 9.96 million subscribers (as of August 14th).
LiSA’s “Gurenge” was released in December 2019, and has been played 130 million times to date.
In March 2020, DISH// (Kitamura Takumi) released the song “Cat”, which has been viewed 200 million times to date.
YOASOBI’s “Racing into the Night” was released in May 2020, and has been viewed 140 million times to date.
Creepy Nuts’ “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” was released in March 2012 and has been played over 70 million times to date. Many of the hit songs that have adorned the music scene in recent years were also performed on “THE FIRST TAKE.”
