“World Cafe” is a radio show that introduces a wide range of music genres to music listeners, focusing on discovering new music and artists, and featuring a variety of styles of music including indie rock, folk, blues, country, and world music. Past guests include Clairo, Mitski, and Jack Johnson. The show is broadcast on approximately 200 radio stations across the United States. This time, luvis was the first young Japanese artist to be featured, and the recording took place at the live house “Tsukimiru Kimi Omofu” in Aoyama, where the audience was all foreigners invited by NPR, creating an environment that was just like being overseas. The final song performed on the show, “Higher,” which drew particularly high praise, is a new song scheduled for release on August 28th, and this video marks the first time it has been released.
