RAYE, the six-time Brit Award winner, will release a live album from their performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in July titled “Live At Montreux Jazz Festival.”

UK singer-songwriter RAYE, who caused a global sensation and showed off her overwhelming vocal talent and presence at Fuji Rock ’24 in July, has released a live album, “Live At Montreux Jazz Festival.” The album features seven songs from her live performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in July. She and her band were so satisfied with the performance that they decided to preserve it as a live album. The album will be released digitally and on a 12-inch vinyl record. Pictured with her on the cover is her Swiss grandfather, who visited the festival and saw her perform for the first time.

The live album recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival has a long history. Raye says about the album:

“Performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival is the greatest musical honor we have ever received. The festival is dedicated to celebrating and providing a platform for true musicianship. I am truly fascinated and in awe of the history of all the artists who have performed on their stage. I am so proud to have had the opportunity to share that same stage with them. I felt great when I left the stage.

At that festival, my maternal father, my beautiful Swiss grandfather Hans, came to see me sing for the first time. It was a beautiful memory for myself and my band. It’s a day I’ll never forget, and I wanted to share that moment with everyone on this beautiful vinyl record.”

The album also includes RAYE’s breathtaking cover of the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s World.”

Her full performance from the festival will also be released on YouTube on October 1st.
