A new era of pop music begins where Japanese and Thai music intersect

The extremely popular Thai star NuNew, known as the “Pearl of Asia” and “Son of the Nation,” will finally make his debut in Japan. The debut single “First Date at Shibuya BAR” will be released by Sony Music on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
NuNew made his debut as an actor in 2020 and quickly became a big hit both in Thailand and abroad. In 2023, her overwhelming singing ability was recognized and she established her career as a solo singer. All of the singles he has released so far have topped major music charts, and he has won numerous music awards. Furthermore, in August of this year, his first solo concert in Bangkok was sold out immediately, attracting more than 20,000 people over two days, and he is now active as a global artist who is leading the Thai entertainment industry.
The Japanese debut song “First Date at Shibuya’s BAR” was composed by Amp Achariya, who is known as the Queen of Thai Pop, and the lyrics were written by Hisashi Kondo, who is known for producing YUI and FTISLAND, and also by SMAP, Ayaka, Ikimonogakari, etc. Arranged by the famous Daichi Hideyuki Suzuki, this new era pop song was created through a gorgeous collaboration that truly represents the pinnacle of the Japanese-Thai music scene. NuNew’s clear singing voice depicts the excitement of love and his determination to take on a new challenge. It is a song that delivers comfort to listeners as the latest neocity pop.
To commemorate the release of their debut single, NuNew’s first domestic solo concert “NuNew 1st Solo Concert “Dream Catcher” in Japan” will be held on December 6th (Friday) at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower THEATER MILANO-Za in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It will be held at. A collaboration room with HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel in the same tower is also available. Details such as ticket information will be announced soon.

I also love Japanese music, and I listen to it a lot on a regular basis, and have even covered it and sung it. I’m very happy to be able to compose my own song this time. Now that I’m debuting in Japan, I want everyone to know more about me, and the songs are pop and very easy to listen to, so I think everyone will like them too.
