Chim Chap, a 4-piece mixture band from Shiga who released their first EP “ORANGE” on October 30th, will hold a release tour “THE “ORANGE” TOUR” in January 2025 in Tokyo and Osaka. It has been decided. The performance will be held at Osaka LIVE SQUARE 2nd LINE on January 11th and at Tokyo SHIBUYA LUSH on January 13th with guest artists. Chim Chap is based in Kansai, but this is the first time they will hold an independent performance in Tokyo. Official advance ticket sales will begin at noon on October 30th.
In addition, the artist photo has been updated starting from the timing of the EP release on October 30th. The image is unified by a photo with an orange motif, which is related to the EP title “ORANGE”.
Chim Chap has already released three limited-edition singles since August, and although he is a new artist, he has been attracting attention as he has been picked up on playlists such as Spotify’s “New Music Wednesday” and “Early Noise.” The songs on the EP have already been performed live, but they have been arranged differently from the original, and can be enjoyed separately. In 2024, they will also perform at large festivals such as “SUMMER SONIC 2024” and “Inazuma Rock Festival 2024”, and their enhanced release live is a must-see.

Chim Chap is a 4-piece mixture band from Shiga. Based in Kansai, active at live houses and street performances. They won the grand prizes of “ESP BAND CONTEST 2023” and “Judai Hakusho 2024”, and also appeared in large-scale festivals such as “SUMMER SONIC 2024-Can’t appear!? Summer Sonic!?-” and “Inazuma Rock Festival 2024”. Each member has different roots, such as rock, pop, jazz, and funk, and they develop a variety of songs.
One of Chim Chap’s charms is his mixed Japanese/English lyrics created by Jesse, who has roots in both Japan and the United States, and his unique style of playing lead guitar as well as vocals and guitar.
