With the theme of “post-traumatic growth,” she sings that there is nothing you can do about it unless you save yourself.
Up-and-coming DIY singer-songwriter samayuzame, who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, released a new song “no aid(ea)” today.
samayuzame is an artist who handles everything from songwriting, composition and arrangement to visual direction, and he fully demonstrates his talent in this song.
“No aid(ea)” is a coined word that combines “no aid” and “no idea”. The theme of the song is “post-traumatic growth,” and the singer sings about the need to save oneself by oneself. samayuzame affirms the violent impulse as a counter to external factors that have caused pain. The song contains sounds of actually crushing, breaking, and breaking things, giving a sense of the vividness of the theme. Photographer Kina Hiraki was in charge of creating the jacket, which has a cute design featuring samayuzame’s own skin with a heart-shaped bandage. The mix and mastering of the song was handled by Ayaka Toki. The MV will be released on the YouTube channel at 9pm on the same day. I would like to check them out as well.
