Paris Texas, a duo from LA who will make the most eclectic sounds of all time, from rock to hip hop, will release a surprise new EP in September, as they will be visiting Japan on a world tour with Tyler the Creator. Just a week after the recently announced EP “They Left Me With The Sword,” they announced their new EP “They Left Me With A Gun.” This EP, a sequel to the previous EP, features a sound in a different direction than the previous one. While his previous album, “Sword” had a smooth arc sound, “Gun” posted six songs with a rough, experimental sound that betrayed their expectations.
The music video for this new EP, “They Left Me With A Gun,” is paired with the music video for the previous EP, “They Left Me With The Sword,” which concludes the story of the two anthology projects. The videos were co-written by members Louis Pastel, Felix and Dan Strait (Charlie XCX, Brockhampton, ASAP Rocky), and Dan is also the visual director of both EPs.

The two EPs were produced a few months before Paris Texas embarked on the largest tour in his career history. Louis and Felix are currently on Tyler the Creator’s Cromacopia: The World Tour with Lil Yotty and others, and sold out six times at their local Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. After this, they head to the US East Coast and cross North America, and will be held in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and Japan.
These two EPs are mentally connected to the 2021 EP “Red Hand Akimbo,” which includes the single “girls like drugs,” which is loved by their fans. Talked in a creepy, familiar, secret voice, Paris Texas enters the next stage of its ever-expanding vision. The company will be focused on long-time friends and collaborators Billy Lemos and Dilip, and will take a more collaborative approach than previous projects.
Paris Texas has created an inclusive worldview with their two early EPs, Boy Anonymous and Red Hand Akimbo, and has established themselves as one of the most exciting new artists in the music scene with their acclaimed EP, Mid Air, including Vulture, iD, The FADER and other critics.

It was formed in the late 2010s by members Louie Pastel and Felix. Since then, I have created the most confusing hip-hop songs. Like their music, the music videos feature a clever story and are hallucinatory at the same time, enhancing nostalgia and innovation. In 2021, they released two short but essential EPs, “Boy Anonymous” and “Red Hand Akimbo.” It was praised nationwide and is now embarking on a further challenge. With his debut album “Mid Air,” released in 2023, he pursues a more adventurous and sincere musicality. He will appear as a support act on all dates of Tyler the Creator’s “Chromacopia: The World Tour,” which will begin in February this year and be announced until September.
