I feel relieved when I come back to Japan. After all, when you leave your home country, you miss it, and it’s wonderful to think that way.

Of course, there are many wonderful things overseas, but I often hear from people I know from overseas who have lived in Japan that they miss Japan, so even if you look at it objectively, I’m sure Japan is full of things that you miss. I think it’s true.

Japan was the first developed country to experience population decline. Japan is a country where everyone says, “This country is no more.” Japan is a gentle, polite, beautiful, and crazy country. I want the world to miss me even more.

Lately, when my classmates and I talk about the future, we all talk with the premise of leaving Japan. But are there any other island countries like this, where people live who can admire all things on an anthropomorphic level, where they are full of elaborate and eccentric craftsmanship, and where you can find delicious food wherever you go? To me, this country looks like a resort island, and I want Japan to continue to be loved by the world, including MT.FUJI, SUSHI, and OMOTENASHI, even when I grow up.

I hope that this glimpse of Japan can be conveyed through our band activities.

ONE PIECE has been made into a live-action drama in Hollywood, but Japan is full of characters and entertainment. The idea of anthropomorphizing hot spring girls, mascot characters, historical figures, etc. is unusual in itself, but I don’t think there is any other ethnic group in the Kansai region that has such a deeply rooted culture of anthropomorphism, like what they call “Ame-chan.” . I think Japan’s unique mindset, which blurs the distinction between things and people, deserves more attention from around the world. So, one day I had an idea that the future of Japan would be to have this identity admired and protected by the people of the world (Genius!!) To that end, through music, we would like to create our own unique identity. I hope to be able to share more with you in the future! !

The sensibilities and thoughts of Philosopher & Rapper Akane Sono (16 years old at the time), who spent her childhood in London and saw Japan from the outside world, led to vocal and guitar players Sorai (17 years old at the time) and bassists who were outstanding in the guitar girl world.
