The release party will be held at the Marriott Group hotel “Aloft Tokyo Ginza” from 18:00 on Saturday, April 20th, and will feature composers such as Kiwako Ajimine, miida, TENDERLAMP, kim taehoon, and support guitarist for leift. In addition to Hajime Uchiyama, Jua has been confirmed to appear. In addition, some of the songs included in “Citrus” will be sold as NFT versions as 24-bit / 96,000Hz high-resolution sound sources. “Granité (Interlude)” will be sold in a limited edition of one unmastered version, and the purchaser will be able to use the sound source and remix it in the form of a collaboration with leift.

“Citrus” is centered around six collaborative songs featuring six guest artists. In addition, the intro and interlude are complemented by instrumental songs that make use of Leift’s career as a producer. The result is “high-quality, sophisticated music” that combines various elements such as electronic, house, chill, and city pop, based on production using leift’s specialty, vintage analog synthesizers, rhythm machines, and analog equipment. “Orangette” was created with SSW member Kiwako Ashimine. Leift, who started singing after composing and arranging music, and Kiwako Ajimine, who pursued the career of singing and discovered track making, are “polar opposites”, and the two are compared to a sweet that is half chocolate and half orange. . On the surface, the tastes may seem to be opposites, but when enjoyed together, the sweetness deepens. When people have the same essential values, they can organically relate to each other, even if their paths are different. I depicted such hope.

The song is “TOKYO AMAPIANO,” which is based on leift’s house style and has a mid-tempo feel with an Afro atmosphere. Exotic phrases and swells with the analog sound of the “TB-303” type of synth bass, often used in acid house. Leift sings about her feelings quietly and matter-of-factly, and Kiwako Ajimine returns the song in a relaxed and emotional way, but without exaggerating it.
