At the country’s largest international music award, “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025,” which will be held at Rhom Theatre Kyoto on Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd, the song “Dilaw” by alternative R&B/pop artist Maki, has been attracting attention as part of “Best of Listeners Choice: Overseas Songs.”

Maki has performed and headlined numerous domestic and international stages, including LANY’s “A Beautiful Blur” concert, AXEAN Music Festival in Bali, Fusion Music Festival in Cebu, Hydro Music Festival, Billboard Mainstage, Myx Music Awards, and Wish Music Awards 2024. This year, the first North American tour touring the United States and Canada will also be held from June to July. More leaps are expected.
“Best of Listeners Choice: Overseas Songs powered by Spotify” determines the best song by user vote
MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN has a category that allows for general voting, and the best songs from the nominated overseas songs are decided by votes from Spotify users.
