Mac Jack releases new song "Run The Tune" produced by Big Goodman Rover.

Mac Jack, a four-member reggae group living in Kobe, has released a new song, “Run The Tune,” produced by Big Goodman Rover. The song was born when Mac Jack made a guest appearance on the radio show where Rover was the MC.

Mac Jack, a former baseball player, participated in Koshien (Koshien LIVE), which was not possible in high school. Everyone went to see the live performance of Big Goodman, which made his dream come true, and they shared the excitement they had at the time with Rover on the program, and during the live broadcast, Rover invited them to eat and they began to interact with each other. After watching Mac Jack’s solo live performance at Osaka Club Quattro on Sunday, January 19th this year, Rover produced a song that would suit them like this, and completed a fast-paced song that combines Rover color and Mac Jack VIBES.

Run The Tune is a word that a soundman (DJ) plays a song (record) at a reggae club, or something that MCL (Mitchell), the leader of Mac Jack, encountered in Jamaica. I thought it was a suitable word for starting something new, so I chose it in the title.

“Run The Tune” has also been decided to be BUZZCLIPS in May on Nippon Television’s Buzz Rhythm 02. A close-up location shoot was conducted in Kobe and Osaka, MacJack’s hometown, and delves into the four characters in depth. The program’s original Music Video will be completed on air for four weeks. Producer Rover (Birth Goodman) and allies KOPERU and Teppei (Umeda Cipher) also appear in the show and talk about their interactions with Mac Jack.

On Friday, May 30th, a two-man live performance with Bigfumi has been decided at Osaka Yogibo META VALLEY as part of the “Run The Tune” release party.

To be honest, large-scale solo concerts are a very high-level wall. In fact, we also had a harsh reality. But I hope that your dreams will come true. That’s why I decided to co-write my music this time because I wanted them to continue to “fine their weapons” and to continue to do so.
I believe there is no need to explain the song. This is because “their beliefs and determination” are all conveyed through this song. I hope you can hear the “Koshien siren” that resonates only for MACK JACK.
