Ninajirachi is an artist named after the Pokemon character “Jirach”. Electronic DJ/producer, who has worked on remixing Sakurazaka46’s “Request for Recognition” and is rapidly gaining popularity in Japan, has announced his new single “Infohazard.” It raises expectations for their debut album “I Love My Computer,” which will be released on August 8th.

The new single “Infohazard” is a track backed by solid chord progressions, and like previous releases of “iPod Touch”, “Fuck My Computer” and “All I Am”, we look back on her early musical experiences and pay homage to nostalgic tribute.

Ninajirachi “Infohazard”

Ninajirachi looks back on Infohazard about the dawn of the Internet at her childhood, and talks about the following:

“There are a lot of reasons why I love computers, but it’s true that I came across some pretty suspicious content when I was a young child so it was too early to watch. “Infohazard” sings about the first time I came across snuff films as a child. For people who grew up online, it’s like a rite of passage. And it’s also the moment when you lose your innocence. If I were a high school student 100 years ago and had never been exposed to computers, I wouldn’t have known that there was even something like that? I will never forget.”

“I started writing this song with Darcy Baylis in January 2020,” she continues.

“The first version was just chords and drums. It wasn’t until I wrote the lyrics that I wrote. We had a session again and again and again. We changed the tracks many times, but that chord was kept forever, and it became a kind of foundation. Darcy is a chord making master. I’m really grateful that he took part in the three songs on this album.”

With his debut album, “I Love My Computer,” Ninajirachi depicts the timeless universality of computers, which can be considered an extension of his own. This reconstructs the brilliant 2010s sound that I’ve been listening to since I was a child. Based on these, we consider the connection between reality and the clear experiences created by computers. It is an unimaginable world that overturns the boundaries of the dance music category, and there is no limit to the virtual world of unfiltered Gen Z EDM revivals.

Ninajirachi “All I Am”

Recently appointed Spotify’s April EQUAL ambassador and selected on the “Future of Music” list for Rolling Stone magazine’s Australia/New Zealand edition, she has established herself as one of the most innovative and unique producers at the moment. Ninajirachi, who exudes eccentric innovation with his unique sound, is steadily moving forward in the world’s music scene as a “producer of the internet era for the internet era” (Music Tech).

Billboard magazine described it as “a female version of Skrillex from the Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites period,” and released its unique worldview and sound inspired by the 2010s in 2024 as the EP “girl EDM.” Since then, “girl EDM” has been loved by fans all over the world as an adjective, genre, acclaimed catchphrase and symbol.

In addition to numerous career highlights, including headliner performances on three continents, a joint headliner tour with umru, and a tour of Australia with Porter Robinson, he will also be holding his fourth flagship club event, “Dark Crystal,” in August, along with umru and MGNA Crrta. Pushing the possibilities of dance music, she has sold out her headliner performances on both sides of Australia, including Laneway Festival, Lollapalooza, EDC, Beyond The Valley, Dark Mofo and the upcoming Split Milk. He is at the forefront of the global stage as a new generation of Australian electronic artists.
