The mountains of Karakorum, a kinema pop band from Tokyo, have released their new single “Nandering Dalari.”
In April, he sold out the “First One-Man Show” at Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR, and in May, he appeared at VIVA LA ROCK 2025, steadily expanding the magnetic field of the “surreal world” embodied by the band.
The new single “Kanro Dalari” in the mountains of Karakoram is the long-awaited sound source of the Karakoram style live anthem, which has sparked trances that can be called a strange festival, all over the place. This song, which evokes primitive memories, is sure to shake the bodies of all listeners.

The mountains of Karakoram
A kinema pop band formed from the summer of 2021 with four students graduates from Aoyama Gakuin University and Waseda University, which have been based in Tokyo. On an alternative beat, Vo./Gt Ishida Sotaro’s poetry unfolds dramatically. The beats woven by members with various musical history, such as student big bands and Jazz Labs, show a variety of faces, including funk, techno and Spanish, and the pop and original chorus are also impressive. Also, the extremely passionate live performance is a must-see. The live performance, full of tension like a musician, unfolds on stage with loop music centered around complex, odd-time signatures.
Each member has a variety of musical roots, but the various arrangements proposed by each member expand the range of the band. At live shows, they also performed at large festivals such as “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’23” (ROOKIE A GO-GO), “SUMMER SONIC 2023” (Can’t you make it? Summer Soni!?), and “VIVA LA ROCK 2025,” demonstrating the band’s value.
