NY – INSTANTALTER, a jazz rock band based in LA, released their debut single “Nothing New” on Friday, July 25th, 2025.

INSTANT ALTER was formed by saxophonist Emilio Modeste (he also performed the saxophone in the song “MOMENTUM” of “BLUE GIANT”) and vocalist Natasha Agrama. Through a variety of jazz collaborations, including Stanley Clarke, Christian McBride, Kassa Overall, Julius Rodriguez, Thundercat, and Kamasi Washington, he has established cinematic musical expressions that invite listeners into an unknown world of adventure and healing.

His debut single, “Nothing New,” is a song that resembles a soundtrack to a movie that depicts the revival of humanity. Like the sun rising from the darkness of the night, we have fallen and rise again and again. Even as we are surrounded by dysfunction, difficulties, and in isolation and sadness, finding love creates honest connections and illuminates our path to a broader perspective.
