Nao’ymt delivers the 8th installment of his 25th anniversary project, “Someone give this emotion a name.” Slow soul sings the feelings of “I’m glad I was born” floating in the sunset

The 8th installment of “Yamata Naoaki 2025” is brought to you by Nao’ymt, known for being produced by Miura Daichi and Amuro Namie. This song sings the feeling that came to tears as I saw one summer day on my way home from the station.

The new song “Someone Name Your Emotion” was released on August 1st as the eighth installment of the Yata Naoaki 2025 project, which commemorates the 25th anniversary of her career, which was launched by Nao’ymt.

“Someone Give These Feelings Named” is a song that started off with the incredibly beautiful sunset I saw on my way home from the station on a summer evening, and the overflowing emotions of “I’m glad I was born.” When Nao’ymt realizes the importance of the people he has met, the importance of what he finds, and the miracle, he gently makes a sound that “unexpressed emotions” that fills his heart.

Even though I know the farewell that will soon come, I still want to believe that I will “be seen again.” With those feelings in mind, tears almost fall forth – the chorus that emotionally depicts this shaking heart in falsetto is just like the colour of a sunset.

As the title “Someone Names These Feelings,” suggests, this work sympathizes with listeners’ hearts by sharing “nameless emotions.” Following “Fading,” Nao’ymt’s “summer” depicts “adult sensibility,” in which nostalgia and quiet passion coexist.

This work was also written by Nao’ymt and composed the lyrics, composition, track making and vocals, and mastered by Dave Kutch, who has worked on The Weeknd and Billie Eilish, following the previous work. The delicate, enveloping soundscape quietly overlaps with the passion that lays in the song.

The Yata Naoaki 2025 project is scheduled to release new songs on the 1st of each month from January to December 2025, and “Someone Give This Feeling” is the eighth album. Nao’ymt’s attitude of continuing to face “emotions that can only be drawn in music” resonates deeply with this work.
