VOCALOCK MANIA ver.3 pre-party "VOCALOCK MANIA DJ NIGHT" to be held! Performers announced!

It was recently announced that VOCALOCK MANIA, an event featuring Vocaloid producers that ended with great success in January this year, will be held as a DJ event at Club JOULE in Osaka and as a live event at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) in Tokyo in August 2024, which has become a hot topic.

The event will be held for the first time at Otemachi Mitsui Hall in January 2023 and will feature three corners: a sales session, a Vocaloid DJ performance, and commentary on the artist’s own songs.

Ver. 2, held at TFT Hall in January 2024, featured live performances by Hitorie and MikitoP, a stage where creators such as Hifumi and Hanyu Maigo opened project files and explained their songs, a sales event where people could purchase new goods and old albums from creators that they would not normally be able to meet, and some booths had long lines, a sponsored area where people could try out instruments and DAWs provided by sponsors, and a karaoke booth where you could enter on the spot. Tickets for this Vocaloid P-focused event, which could be enjoyed in a festival-style format for a day, sold out quickly and became a hot topic.

Now, the VOCALOCK MANIA DJ NIGHT, a Vocaloid DJ event, will be held at namco TOKYO in Kabukicho Tower, and four performers have been announced.

First up is “gaburyu”, who is also a member of the music unit “LanPage”, whose formation was recently announced and has been much talked about, and who creates songs based on the “Maid Saint Witch Series” that feature music videos using 3DCG.

“SEE” held the hugely successful event “Tokyo City is a Parallel World” that he organized himself, and is not just a Vocaloid producer, but is also actively involved in band activities and continues to expand the scope of his activities.

Higma is responsible for representative songs such as “Monolog at the Window” and “GOGO Skyscraper”, as well as “Bubble”, which became a hot topic at last year’s Vocaduo 2023.

Yuigot has also been confirmed to appear as a DJ at VOCALOCK MANIA ver.3 at Osaka club JOULE.

The key visual was created by Nakano, who was born in 2001 and works as a designer at a production company, but also produces flat designs using typography and graphic expression as a personal project. The key visual is based on the night atmosphere of Kabukicho and expresses the immersive feeling of music that is the charm of a Vocaloid DJ event.
