Talia Rae, a singer-songwriter rising from East London and rising to fame in the UK, has released her new single “Rocket Woman” on Glassnote Records. She is steadily climbing the ladder to big stardom. This cinematic track was produced by Mike Spencer (Labyrinth, Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue). Following on from her debut track “Not A Heartbreak,” which wowed us with its overwhelming vocal talent, Talia roars with confidence.
The new song “Rocket Woman” unfolds like an aural cinema. With a hypnotic piano hook and James Bond-esque strings, a dreamy sonic world emerges where Thalia carefully whispers before bursting into a full-on vocal blitz. The drums crash and the production evokes a timeless cosmic world. A powerful empowering anthem, “Rocket Woman” feels so vast and deep that it feels like the universe itself.

Talia grew up in Essex, England, and honed her talents through rigorous self-study and the Sylvia Young Theatre School (where Amy Winehouse and Dua Lipa also studied). Now 21 years old, she has made a name for herself in London, impressing her collaborators with her intelligence and presence that are out of line with her youth. In May of this year, she made her festival debut at “The Great Escape 2024” in Brighton, silencing the packed venue with her goosebump-inducing singing. In July, she will perform with Fleetwood Mac’s legendary singer Stevie Nicks at “BST Hyde Park 2024” in London.
Her upcoming releases will also be produced by Mike Spencer (Labyrinth, Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue) and Charlie Andrews (Alt-J, London Grammar, Wolf Alice). Thalía credits Amy Winehouse and her iconic debut album, Frank, as her biggest creative impulse. She hopes that her honest, vulnerable records will empower others as much as they empowered her. Her upcoming songs will showcase Thalía’s unique talent, with a voice that is mesmerizing, magical and downright breathtaking.
