The song for “NHK Sports Theme 2024” by YOASOBI has been completed, and the title has been decided as “Stage Standing”. To create the song, they asked three manga artists active in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump +”, Taizan 5, Yuki Kirishima, and Haruno Hiuka, to create a work on the theme of sports. Then, based on the manga that was written, Jun Esaka wrote a novel, and created the song as the original novel. For “NHK Sports Theme 2024”, it is a heart-pumping guitar rock tune that was written with the image of the conflicts and excitement that athletes face. It is a song that will push you forward in situations where you need to take a courageous step forward, not just for athletes.
The camera will be used on NHK’s broadcasts of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games starting in July, as well as various other sports this year, so please look forward to it.
