The full version of the original song “ena mori & Tomggg / Nante ne” from the new TV commercial for the health drink “Pocari Sweat,” “Your Potential is Within You,” (15 seconds, 30 seconds, 120 seconds) will be available for streaming and download on all major platforms, including Apple Music, TikTok, Spotify, iTunes Music Store, etc., starting from Friday, July 12th.
The song was created by two artists. It is a collaboration between Tomggg, a composer, arranger and track maker who is attracting a lot of attention in the music industry, and ena mori, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter who won the Best Work Award at the Awit Awards 2022, the largest music award in the Philippines. The latest J-pop sound of the Reiwa era, which is a mix of Hip Hop, House and Harajuku, the refreshing and kitschy lyrics sung in a mix of Japanese and English, depicting the passion and excitement that never stops, and the rhythm that makes you want to dance run through the Pocari Sweat 2024 commercial’s full-speed running video.
Their first collaborative work, “Strawberry Milk,” became an indie hit in 2023 and attracted the attention of many music fans with its hybrid of cuteness and languidness, as well as its overwhelming groove. A remix contest based on the song received over 70 remix submissions, and two remix albums were released, which attracted a lot of attention.
This work, “Nante ne,” is the second collaboration between Tomggg and ena mori.

I also love Pocari Sweat and often drink it when I want to get energized, such as before a live performance, so when I got the opportunity to create a commercial song, I was surprised and excited!
I worked with Tomggg on the song “ICHIGO MIRUKU,” and I’m very happy that we were able to create refreshing, heart-warming music once again.
I think we’ve created a song that is touching, even though it mixes English and Japanese, and is very much in keeping with Tomggg and I.

In this communication, we created a “game” as an expression motif to convey the idea that “act before you think. Sweat and your power will fill you.” The key message is “Potential is within you.” In order to realistically capture the process of vitality surpassing the digital world, the two main characters were filmed on smartphones running up a 120m staircase at full speed. The objects that appear along the way were placed based on the entire location scanned and digitized so that they would appear in accordance with the two characters’ movements. In addition, an AR system was developed that allows objects to be displayed in response to sprinting. The director was Sho Yanagisawa, who specializes in visual expressions that are beyond imagination, centered on physicality, following “Pocari NEO Choir” (2020), “But I Saw You” (2021), and “I Don’t Need Wings” (2022), and the characters and objects were created by several game designers, including Hideyuki Tanaka, a designer who symbolizes the pop culture of the 2000s. The music was produced by Tominaga Keisuke, who also produced the Pocari Sweat commercials of the 2010s, such as “Your dream is my dream” and “Sweat flows for you.”

■ Story
Tsubaki and Anji miss the bus they were supposed to catch. If they keep going like this, they’ll be late. “Let’s go from the back!” says Anji as he runs into the alley. The perspective then switches to Tsubaki’s perspective as he chases after them, and the two enter the world of the game. After passing through a tunnel of trees, they come to the other side, which is filled with information bugs outside the AR range. As they run through this chaotic and mysterious world, confused, the digital information gradually starts to fail to catch up with them, and glitches (visual discrepancies) and loading marks appear. Having run through a world where reality and fantasy are mixed in one go, the two drink Pocari Sweat at the top of the hill. Real sweat on their foreheads. They realize the power within themselves and their life force overflows. With a sense of accomplishment and confidence, the two run again.
