WAPLAN is a music artist who is currently trending on TikTok, with his mashup videos combining two songs having been viewed approximately 600,000 times.

Fascinated by the numerous hit songs from all over the world that are ranked on America’s most popular song chart, “The Billboard Hot 100,” he wanted to create songs that could make it onto that chart, so he started making beats in 2009.

After building up his career, in 2019 he began working as a DJ and music producer under the slogan “From Japan to the World!!” He produces songs featuring US singers and rappers, and pursues his own dance music sound by fusing Japanese culture with Western music. He also self-produces everything from mixing and mastering to music videos and jacket photos.

His previously released songs have been selected for Spotify’s official popular playlists “New Music Wednesday” and “Tokyo Rising”. As a DJ, he is expanding his horizons, performing not only in Japan but also in China.
