Singer-songwriter Sasagawa Mao has pre-released his new song, “Strange, Burning Tattoo,” from his first full album in about two and a half years, to be released on Wednesday, April 16th, as well as a music video.

Singer-songwriter Sasagawa Mao has released the music video for the first full album in about two years, “STRANGE POP,” which will be released on Wednesday, April 16th, with the music video being pre-released today, Wednesday, March 19th.
This song gives a glimpse into the current mode of “alternative genius” Sasagawa Mao’s hyperpop, and further raises expectations for the album.
Sasagawa Mao himself also directed and produced the music video. The animation part and distribution jacket in the music video are handled by Tasame Hoshi, who worked on the cover of the new album.
