KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO has announced its new game title, the urban exploration school adventure game “Kamitsubaki Gakuen Newspaper Club.” This work will be released as the latest title in the original IP project “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.” series, produced by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO.
The latest release of the Kamitsubaki City Construction series, which features characters based on virtual artist VWP, has been decided.
“Kamitsubaki City Under Construction,” which has been developed by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO since 2019, is an original IP project featuring characters based on the virtual artist group VWP. They have released co-created ARGs, TRPGs, rhythm games and adventure games, and the long-awaited TV anime will also be released in July this year. The urban exploration school adventure game “Shintsubaki Gakuen Newspaper Club” has been announced as the latest title for the project.
Like the previous titles related to “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction,” it is set in Kamitsubaki City, and although the main characters are the same, the scenario is developed as a unique feature of this work. It is an “urban exploration school adventure” where you can enjoy the interactions between five characters who live their school life.
The development of this work is by Kazuhide Oka, the creator of “Natsuno Kanata” and “Girl’s Maid Pudding.” The character design and art direction was created by Sutorobo, and the logo and graphic design was created, and the previous titles related to “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction” have a cute, dot-style visual that has changed the atmosphere dramatically.

An event where you can try out this game will be held at the Sunshine City Cultural Hall Building in Ikebukuro on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th.

The Kamitsubaki Gakuen Newspaper Club is an urban exploration school adventure where girls investigate the “ruses” and “secrets” of Kamitsubaki City. He will spend his school life with Kaho and the others attending Kamitsubaki Academy, and explore the city as an activity for the newspaper club.
■Synopsis of this work
If you have amnesia, you will wake up in Kamitsubaki City, a city with a tall tower in the center. There, she was invited by the girl she met, Morisamu Kaho, and decided to work as a member of the Kamitsubaki Gakuen Newspaper Club. Through research on school life and in the city, you will deepen your interactions with Kaho and other members.
