A friend of mine from when I was a student was a fan of Hanafu-chan, and I learned about her existence around the time her first album was released.
I thought he was a wonderful artist with a unique voice. I’m very happy to have been asked to talk to her about her natural vibrato, which is transparent yet jagged and cannot be learned through training.I had hoped to work with her someday.
I am also deeply moved by the fact that the collaboration partner is Hoshimachi, who has a close bond with my ally TAKU INOUE, who I am indebted to on a daily basis.
Thanks to the wonderful work of the world-famous arranger Hideya Kojima and the singing of both Hanafusa-chan and Seimachi-san, the song is more complete than I imagined, and I’m looking forward to seeing it reach the world.
As for the lyrics, I was invited to a live performance during production, and while I was overwhelmed by the spectacle, I wrote the lyrics with a lot of energy, including a play on words.
