To commemorate the release of the live film “DIR EN GREY LIVE FILM Zankyo no Kechimyaku,” which captures the band’s first European tour in four years, held in March this year, in Germany, the final stop, it has been decided that the band members will take to the stage to give a speech!
This work is a live documentary that includes not only live scenes but also behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the band members. It follows the structure of the live performance, which was held over two days with different themes, and will be released nationwide as a two-part series, with “~mode of Withering to death.~” to be released nationwide on September 20th and “~mode of UROBOROS~” to be released nationwide on October 4th.
The stage greetings are scheduled to take place on September 22nd during the screening period of “Mode of Withering to Death.,” and on October 4th, the first day of the screening of “Mode of UROBOROS,” at Shinjuku Piccadilly, with the five members of DIR EN GREY and Director Koichiro Hamasaki appearing on stage. This will be the first time that the five members will gather together for a stage greeting for a movie, making it a valuable event to build excitement for the release.

The trailer begins with the intro to “VINUSHKA” from the album “UROBOROS,” and then shows footage of the live show with enthusiastic local fans, interview scenes with the band members talking about the band, and ends with the film’s catchphrase, “The reverberations resonate across borders,” set to the epic ballad “Acro no Oka.” The trailer provides a glimpse into the world of the movie.
