SPYAIR’s new song “Ao” will be the opening theme for the TV anime “Ao no Miburo” which will start broadcasting nationwide on Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV from 5:30 pm on October 19th! The new visual has been released!
“Blue Miblo” is a story by Yasuda Tsuyoshi (DAYS), currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”, depicting the bluest and hottest “Shinsengumi”. The story is set in Kyoto during the late Edo period. A kind-hearted boy, “Nio”, meets the Mibu Roshi Group, commonly known as “Miblo”, who later become the “Shinsengumi”. This encounter with them sets in motion the fate of this ordinary 13-year-old. This is a passionate story depicting the lives of the Miblo characters, who risk their lives to burn the flames of youth and take on the fight to prevent the world from becoming a place of war.
“Ao” was written specifically for this work, and is a song that conveys the changes and determination that come with going through the youthful years that everyone goes through and becoming an adult!
The official YouTube channel of the program has also released a teaser movie for the opening of “Blue Miblo,” where you can check out a part of the song first! Expectations are high for the original animation opening video that suggests a hot story and the fast-paced song!

The title of the nationwide tour to promote this song, which will begin on November 4th, has been decided as “SPYAIR TOUR 2024 -AO-“! It will take place in seven cities across the country.

I am happy to be in charge of the opening theme for the memorable anime adaptation of “Blue Miblo”!
The song expresses the changes and determination that come with going through the youthful years that everyone goes through and becoming an adult.
If you watch the opening, you will be reminded of the main characters as they become Shinsengumi, and I think you will be moved in a different way than if you were listening to the song alone.
This will be the first song to be adapted into an anime, but when it comes to “Blue Miblo,” this is the song! I think we’ve created a fantastic song, so please give it a listen!
