UVERworld’s new song “PHOENIX” has been chosen as the theme song for the movie “ACMA:GAME The Last Key”! Special collaboration PV released!

UVERworld’s new song “PHOENIX” has been chosen as the theme song for the movie “ACMA:GAME The Last Key,” which will be released on October 25th!

Following “ACMA:GAME” which was broadcast on the Sunday drama slot on Nippon Television in April 2024, he will also be in charge of the theme song for “ACMA:GAME The Last Key”. The new song “PHOENIX” was written specifically for the movie version, and is the polar opposite of the ballad of the theme song “MEMORIES of the End”, which he says was inspired by the weakness, strength and love of humans depicted in the drama “ACMA:GAME”. As the title “PHOENIX” suggests, it is created with the image of a phoenix that continues to fight around the world, with a sense of speed and intensity intertwined. It gives the impression of the protagonist Terutomo Oda (Shotaro Mamiya) and his friends taking on numerous battles in the movie version.

In addition, a promotional video featuring the theme song “PHOENIX” combined with footage from the film has also been released!

“ACMA:GAME The Last Key” Theme Song Special Collaboration PV[Released on 10/25 (Fri)]

Terutomo and his friends take on one brutal game after another. In the final battle, “The Gladiator,” Kuroda Mitsuteru (Kaneko Nobuaki) is seen holding a sword beside Gad, and Terutomo is seen shedding tears.

■ Comment from UVERworld
The theme is a phoenix-like image that continues to fight across the world.
We are presenting this song in the hope that it will help convey Terutomo’s feelings of continuing to fight despite his wounds, and help make the ACMA:GAME movie a wonderful work that will resonate around the world.
