Surprise information has been announced that BABYMETAL will be appearing in the movie “Heavy Trip II / Our Scandinavian Metal Crisis Ippatsu!”, which will be released at Cinemart Shinjuku and other locations nationwide from December 20th! A special video has been released ahead of the trailer!
Special news “Heavy Trip II/Our Scandinavian metal is in crisis!” ”
“Heavy Trip/We are on the edge of Nordic metal!” is a Finnish country metal copy band that has never played a live show for 12 years, creates the best original song in history, and performs at Norway’s largest metal festival. A story depicting an unusual journey through the struggle to participate in the event. As soon as it was released, it was miraculously sold out every day, and there was applause after the screening. A hilarious metal comedy film from Finland that became a big hit that no one expected and became a hot topic on social media.
It has recently been revealed that BABYMETAL will appear in the sequel, “Heavy Trip II/Oretachi Nordic Metal Crisis Ippatsu!”. Rather than making cameo appearances, SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL will be given their own lines and will play an important role in the story. There is also a live scene, which was undoubtedly the biggest surprise of this work for Japanese fans. A scene photo of BABYMETAL’s performance scene was also released.
It has also been decided that the original soundtrack for this work will be released on December 11th!
The musical accompaniment is provided by Swedish occult rock band YEAR OF THE GOAT. Along with the music of the band IMPALED REKTUM in the movie, the music of the new super electric wave death voice heavyweight band BLOODMOTOR was written by Mika Lammassaari of the Finnish metal band MORS SUBITA. Also included is the movie version of BABYMETAL’s “Gimme chocolate!!”, which appears in the play in a very important role. Symphonic death and melodic death intersect beautifully, and the roar that echoes at the end of the fjord is captured in one album.
