HEY-SMITH’s “Fellowship Anthem” has been selected as the theme song for ABEMA’s new program “Borderland Death Road”!
“Border Death Road” is a “death-risking documentary variety show that transcends borders and common sense” and will be broadcast for a total of 8 episodes starting at 9pm on December 7th. Additionally, prior to the start of the program’s broadcast, Episode 0, which is a prequel to this program, was released.
This is a documentary/variety show that closely examines the lives of people who risk their lives to cross borders around the world, and was planned by Kenta Omae Pugeorgio, who was in charge of the TBS regular program “Why Do Nightless Castles Rotate,” which won the January Galaxy Award of the Month Award? /Participated as general director. Mr. Ohmae himself travels to the “national borders” that are the dividing lines between countries around the world, and gets a close-up look at the lives of the people who risk their lives to cross the border. We explore the truth behind why people have to cross borders despite the risks.
It has also been decided that HEY-SMITH’s “Fellowship Anthem” will be used as the theme song for the program. This song was included in the anti-racism-themed compilation “SKA AGAINST RACISM 2020” released by an American label in 2020, and is a popular song that is often performed at live performances. It truly transcends borders and races, making the program even more exciting.
